I have a 7.62x39 PWS MK1 SBR I want to run with a suppressor my friend/gunsmith/c3 dealer warned me it likely wont be reliable.
I have many suppressors in 7.62 but this one I was planning on using my YHM ti Phantom if that makes any difference.
He said they have all had problems. I bought it before I knew him he is also a C3 dealer.
I know I need to take it out and run it but is this common with this gun in 7.62x39?
If yes what are the solutions?
I love the idea of this set up since it fits under my desk at work but if I cant count on it thats no help.
Thanks PG

That looks like a Mod 1 or early model. No adjustable gas block? If it's a fixed gas block those long stroke uppers tend to be over gassed for reliability. The suppressor will enhance this so I don't think you'll have failure to fire or feed but you may beat up the gun. You can swap out buffer, different weights, if it becomes an issue.

mm should have bought one of these its way more reliable and needs nothing to run a can and its accurate too.
mine is very accurate out to 200 yards with a red dot. big plus is it only looses 150-200 fps with a 10.25" barrel which is chrome plated.
love mine, the factory trigger is really good right out of the box.
