I must have won the lottery, my friend just bought a new glock 26 gen 4 for Christmas and on round 102 we had a KB. The ammo was American Eagle 115gr. It looks like it only broke the magazine release and bent the ejector on the trigger housing. What would be the likely hood of Glock fixing his gun?

Re: I must have won the lottery

Holy crap, that sucks. As a factory certified Glock armorer, I will attest that glock will stand beside thier product and likely fix it, even though im sure, and they too will be sure, the ammo was more likely to blame.

The parts you need replaced are around 20.00, so not a big deal for Glock.

Re: I must have won the lottery

I have already located the parts locally and I'm just trying to figure out if its worth the trouble to have glock fix it or just do it myself, do you know what the process would be to warranty the work?

Re: I must have won the lottery

Just call Glock in Smyrna, GA and follow thier advice. They will likely refer you to a local Glock armorer and take care of the bill for you. Try the following number:

770-432-1202

Re: I must have won the lottery

I'd get it checked out, especially if there is a chance they can check the other parts with tools or experience to see if they've been compromised in some non-obvious way that might lead to future problems.
