Rifle Scopes Illuminated reticle Red or Green

What are the advantages/disadvantages of either color..I am adding to a USO SN3 with H27 reticle..Thanks for you input

One thing to keep in mind if you ever use night vision with your Illum ret. Most NVD that I am familiar with have a green tint to them. I do use NVD,s and the red IR works better for me. I need the contrast!!
