Ok, guys. I am looking for some imagination and serious ideas.
Let's say I gave to you, a M40 (wood stock and all), told you this is the rifle you are going to use, you can not change the stock. You can only up grade (and you HAVE to upgrade) the optics (base, rings, and optic), you have the option to upgrade the BDL also.
Keeping it as an 100% authentic or repro is not an option, except for the stock and barreled action. What would you do to for this rifle to perform under pressure and withstand being put through the ringer (rugged use, comp., LE/Mil work).
I am looking for serious answers and legit answers. Functional, practical, and tuff, yet clean compact lines.
