Impressed with H1000

Found max with H1000 in my short 6,5x284 and was suitably impressed! Almost same V0 as Norma factory 140gr gave in 26" before cutting. The load was a tad stiff, so will back off a little and land at something like 850 msec/ 2790 fps.

At first glance, I'm looking at 1/3 to 1/4 the V0 variation with temperature when compared to my regular Norma powders. Hope this holds as numbers stack up.

2,790 fps sounds really slow for a 6.5x284 are those numbers correct? I get 2,800 from my 260rem with a 140g amax.

I only run a 20" barrel hence the V0.

H1000 is becoming my go-to slow powder. Groups better than Retumbo, less temp sensitive than RE25.
