This is the first I’ve heard of Printed Precision. A Quick Look at the Printed Precision web page indicates that the design is a copy of Paul’s Disk trickler. Not much info there.
There was a discussion about it here a while ago. It started in the IP whining thread and I think there was a separate thread. Not my sytle but it will probably work for many. This is the first I’ve heard of Printed Precision. Might as well throw in Autotrickler V5 too.Just emailed and it’s been pushed back “late June”.
At this point between the IP and the PP whoever rolls it out first is getting my money.
Only if they revert to more of a V3 structureMight as well throw in Autotrickler V5 too.![]()
I was just joking since the none of these full trickler systems exist in the market. I do wish Adam would have listened to customer feedback on the V4. Otherwise we probably wouldn't be in this situation with so many start-up trickler systems. I'm fine for now since I have a V3+IP, but I do feel sorry for folks who didn't and have waited vs getting another system. I don't think Adam is interested in another iteration of the AT, but I've been wrong before.Only if they revert to more of a V3 structure
The general impression you got from Adam when he would still communicate is that he was pretty much sick of running a trickler business. To be honest, we're pretty lucky when someone decides to take something like this on, even at a profit for themselves. Small business, small batch, contract manufacturing, cottage shops like this have to be something of a nightmare to run. Cool to play in and roll out the first working model but iterating in multiple versions, keeping up with changing manufacturing and contractor problems, maintaining spare parts stock, and dealing with customers probably turn something you enjoy into your worst nightmare . Then people on here talk like it's an expected service to a relatively frivolous recreational sport that Adam and Paul should do better at, lol. I don't envy those guys And I'm just grateful we have some version of auto throw/ trickler to buy.I was just joking since the none of these full trickler systems exist in the market. That’s why we have Hornady - to steal the IP and mass produce it.The general impression you got from Adam when he would still communicate is that he was pretty much sick of running a trickler business. Reason? It was the power supply back in February because of Chinese new year. Once they came in they were going outJust emailed and it’s been pushed back “late June”.

He didn’t say. I have zero faith in timelines at this point.Reason? It was the power supply back in February because of Chinese new year. Once they came in they were going out
Thank you I was just curious what it was.He didn’t say. I have zero faith in timelines at this point.
And at a sloppier level of execution. But they'll release a video saying the average shooter doesn't know his asshole from his elbow and it's not their products faultThat’s why we have Hornady - to steal the IP and mass produce it.
That's the impression I got after working with him quite a bit at one point fixing one of the issues with the V4, which was the only issue I personally had. Good guy, but there wasn't motivation for him to move past the V4 at this point and time. The general impression you got from Adam when he would still communicate is that he was pretty much sick of running a trickler business. Quite certain that's why RCBS released their attempt at a precision trickler with the match master.Auto-trickler competition today is much more now that 5-6 years ago or whenever he did v1/v2.
Sort of. There's one or two more options now, but none of them seem to compare to the V1 2 and 3Auto-trickler competition today is much more now that 5-6 years ago or whenever he did v1/v2.
yeah I'm right there with you. I really think that most don't have a clue what it takes to actually make something these days, ....ANYTHING. People complain about builders like that too(which is what I do) and there's plenty who are terrible just like all professions but, it's so unbelievably hard to build something these days I don't care who it is or what it is. There's so many speed bumps and unreliable others involved that you just have limited control over. It's been a while now and I'd love to have the new system but I'm not going to complain because I wouldn't want to do it and I'm glad paul does. Most who are capable of doing such are also capable of doing other things that don't require the headache that designing and producing something does. I'm great full Paul has that in him to deal with it and see it through. The general impression you got from Adam when he would still communicate is that he was pretty much sick of running a trickler business. While I agree with everything you have said I don't think it's unwarranted to have complaints about the delays at this point since we are 1 year past the original release date. Some folks will just complain with more frequency and entitlement. For me at least if this full system concept didn't exist I would have already sourced a second AT V3 and got another IP Trickler upgrade. I'll be happy when ever it's released.yeah I'm right there with you. I really think that most don't have a clue what it takes to actually make something these days, ....ANYTHING. I get what you are saying. But I was told by him it was just waiting on the grounded power supply. I’m not complaining I was just curious about what was the possible hold up. Since he said once they showed up they were going to start shipping.yeah I'm right there with you. Do we even make these in America? Lol. Probably stuck in a shipping container arguing about who's going to pay the tariffMaybe he’s still waiting on the power supply to come in.
I’m sure not but on the phone he told me like two more weeks back in February and he’d should have them. I was just curious if it was still them holding up or something else had come along.Do we even make these in America? Lol. Oh, no accusations or anything on my part! Apologies if it came across like that. I was just empathizing that those type of things are probably something Americans import and we are indeed in unprecedented times.I’m sure not but on the phone he told me like two more weeks back in February and he’d should have them. Sorry for wanting to know.
I get that and it's fair to say too. I'm sure if Paul could go back in time he'd likely do some things differently, especially concerning the timeline. That said, when you are making something new, a lot of the time you just don't know what you don't know, and I suspect that's the real issue here. I mean, how would anyone know the ins and outs of mass producing something like this, especially with the utter disaster that's happened to our whole country since covid/biden, ect...? I think the timeline seemed reasonable initially and then just one thing was realized and dealt with, then another thing realized and dealt with, ect... If I didn't already have an AT+IP I'd have sure gotten one and not waited for this new system but I can understand the frustration on your end too. I wasn't directing my post at any poster in particular. While I agree with everything you have said I don't think it's unwarranted to have complaints about the delays at this point since we are 1 year past the original release date. yeah I understand. I thought that same thing and I assumed it was just a matter of things coming in since the various folks who did the beta testing stuff have had theirs for a while but there's probably other things that compound the situation that we just aren't aware of. I don't know Paul really well or anything but I have spoken with him more than once and it's immediately apparent that he's not the kind of guy that will "just let it go" if there's some issue or could be some issue down the road. I can't say I blame him given that, if there is some issue , it will be widely known and made issue of and could be a disaster go rectify after 500 units go out.I get what you are saying. But I was told by him it was just waiting on the grounded power supply. I’m not complaining I was just curious about what was the possible hold up.
