I read the directions, and it looks pretty straight forward. But, Like a lot of manuals there seems to be some missing text. It is going into a 700. Anything to be cautious of? Any tips or tricks you care to share? DO you Have to drill out the pin holes, or should I test fit the new pins first?

Thanks, and Happy Thanksgiving.

Re: Installing a Rifle Basix Trigger?

You'll figure out getting it on easy enough.
When you adjust it try to stay on the safe side of sear engagement. And check for slam fires by slamming the bolt closed and bouncing the recoil pad on the ground(on a phonebook or carpet)

be safe. Triggers can be a huge liability

Adjust what? I ordered it from the factory with a 3lb. pull. Am I missing something?

It might be adjusted at the factory but uless the fatory had your rifle it can be different in each and every rifle that the trigger is put in.
