Gunsmithing Installing a Wyatts extendd box in a Model 70 Win

Can someone fill me in on the installation on this. The instructions seem to indicate milling the middle screw hole flat across? Can someone give the specifics. Wyatt's Out Door will not answer their phone for about a week now.

I called and spoke to them on the 12th or 13th. Seemed very helpful answering my questions.
