Here's my iPhone adapter I made from kydex and machined pieces of PVC for a nice slight interference fit. Works great!

What did you use to mold the Kydex? your lifeproof case?
Yes, I took the phone out and used the case to get my bend lines then clamped the kydex on some bar stock and heat and beat. Wasn't hard at all.
Here's a pic I snapped with the adapter. It works great but the video is really what's awesome. I'm not sure how to post that or I would.

Here's a short clip of me using the iPhone mounted to Pvs 14 while it was weapon mounted. I actually shot watching the screen of the phone to aim. Video quality isn't awesome from utube but it is on the phone.

I have a buddy that mounted his Pvs-14 behind a scope with rubber hose and clamps. This would be a great addition. Thanks.

Two part epoxy. It's tough as hell.
I made this exact thing for my Droid. The adapters are only made for the IPhone and expensive. I epoxy'd an old droid case to a PVC cap that fit my pvs-14.

I'm trying to make one of these for my spotting scope so I don't need to make any major adjustments just to get a good look. That, and I might be able to get video on some trace. My issue is getting the alignment and eye relief correct. Any suggestions beyond trial and error?
What is the size of the PVC cap that fit the PVS-14? Does it stay on snug? I'm wanting to make this for my setup... Thanks for the idea!

Tag! I'm so gonna have to try this! Any bits of advice for an iPhone 4 as far as case wise to use? I'm not thinking the otter box defender is a good one to start out with. Silicone rubber over plastic. What's a good plastic case to dart out with? Would like I mount this on my millet LRS to try and get some long range hits on video.
I would grab the cheapest hard plastic case Walmart sells. This was just a clear plastic I had laying around.
