IR reduction for plate carrier

So I decided to check out some gear under Nods with the built in IR light (pvs14) and boy am I NOT happy with my SKD Pig carrier, particularly the hook and loop velcro.


What are y'all using to reduce IR reflectivty in fabric and/or velcro? I have used non UV enhanced detergent for clothing, but the velcro is straight polyester which I doubt the washing will do anything for. What's my next option? Krylon?

Unsure about IR reduction.
You won't beat thermals.
I did upgrade my SKD PIG,cumberbund.
Got hold of a First Spear retrofit Overlap.
Part goes over the Velcro.
Has an easier disconnect.
Via tubes,they don't really show the front.
I never,lift the Velcro any more.
Also covers the velcro

I used krylon on the reflective parts of the cordura and velcro fuzz. Reflectivity is gone with white light, will be testing it out tonight under IR
