Unreal. Sure, give them MLRS. Wonder if they'll give them some ATACMS too - since we're apparently phasing those out. This, IMO, is a major "raise" in this poker game. At some point, Russia is going to call.

Man this is some outright crazy shit , British Bishop preaching in Warsaw Poland , knowing how much Poles hate Putin is literaly playing with fire .

* Ironically enough, the only ones historically Poles hated more than Russians were the Ukrainians,as WW2 was winding down Poles and Ukrainians were killing each other on mass scale till cca 1947 , and ultimately Soviets had to resettle large chunks of the population to make them stop killing each other. ‘population exchange’ 1944-46, 750,000 Poles were moved from Ukraine to Poland and 488,000 Ukrainians from Poland to Ukraine.''' Between 1942 and 1945, members of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA) killed up to 100,000 Poles in the Volhynia region of what is now northwest Ukraine. 1945-47 Poles committed ethnic cleansing of Ukrainians in a bid ''Resolve the Ukrainian question once and for all''

Haven't been following along, need a QRD.

Ukraine is winning, right?

If the goal was the survival of the Ukrainian state, then Ukraine is clearly winning.
If the goal is the seizure of Eastern Ukraine, then Russia is winning.

After Russia's retreat from western Ukraine, Russia had to revise its objectives to a more limited goal of securing the land bridge from Ukraine to Russia and securing the Donbass region.

Pick a side and throw peanuts from the gallery as they quibble over the details.

The change occurred three weeks ago. Russia found a good general to put in charge of the entire operation. They launched the Donbass offensive a bit prematurely and despite some terrible performance at the local levels and Ukrainian counter attacks, the center of gravity remained the heart of the Donbass operation. The Russians retained the initiative and concentrated their best units being the Wagner group, The Naval Infantry and a reconstituted paratroop unit together and made a central push through Popsana (sp?). This formed a salient that is now threatening to encircle the bulk of the Ukrainian heavy equipment and their best troops in the East.

Its high drama on the front line of the most interesting sort if you like to watch operational warfare play out. Almost set piece in some ways. Just good maneuvering and counter maneuvering. I'm sure the troops are exhausted.

Ukrainian Casualties are running ~500 per day and who knows what the Russians are pushing. Probably similar as the Ukrainians are being attrited by artillery while the Russians are being attrited in the attack.

Yesterday there wasn't much movement but the day prior was awesome. I haven't checked today.

revise?
putin's stated goal was to downgrade the ukraine military, secure the 2 separatist regions and end the threat against them, secure crimea, and denazification, whatever that means. he never once claimed to have any intention of taking other regions. this is a democrat invention.
the size of the forces sent to the west and kiev were never large enough to seriously threaten those regions. these were only used to occupy the ukrainian forces in those regions so they could not help or reinforce the forces being attacked in the east. even the ukraine military made this assessment.
the idea that putin "expected quick surrender" or counted on it, is another invention of the west narratives.

I just can't take that statement seriously.

they sent 40k scattered around kiev, which had a local garrison of over 100k. they never had enough forces to take a city of that size, per a bunch of military "experts" on various outlets. the only plausible answer, which they seized on, was that putin foolishly expected them to surrender.

terms for peace were made clear in february.

but remember, per zelensky he was told they would not be joining nato, but they would keep pretending it would happen.

So his plan to "demilitarize" was to roll in lose a bunch of men and some of his best units, unit NATO, unify Ukraine behind its president, and give the Ukrainians more tanks and equipment than they lost? Your argument is that Putin is an idiot. This would literally be the biggest stupid feint in history.

The military experts, whom you choose to believe one thing they say but not the other, were correct.
The Russians didn't have the force to occupy if the Ukrainians resisted. The Russians clearly were not expecting the Ukrainians to resist. They did.

now you're just repeating the silly supposition, after it was proven wrong.
certainly if ukraine had any intention of capitulation, they would have agreed in december, well before the incursion.
zelensky knew that if the west didn't punish him for giving away "their" oil and gas money, the far right nationalists would have strung him up,
this is why he has been slaughtering people in donbas after running on a peace platform. they would not allow him to remain if he stopped.
anyone with even a basic understanding would see that.
go be stupid elsewhere mr. putin's mind reader.

you might not agree with this guys assessment of current conditions, but he agrees with you that putin expected ukraine to surrender.

Oh WTF LBC?
We had a nice thing going here. You'd post carbon copies from talking points of the Russian MOD (only after their withdrawal began) and I'd counter argue them. Why go to insults? Thought we were having a dialog.

Next you'll claim that the Russians achieved "Complete Air Supremacy in the first few days of the war."

well, i just bolstered your argument, but i still think it is stupid to believe zelensky was going to give up and try to save "his people" from being slaughtered. after all, the right wing battalions that pootin wanted to destroy weren't exactly towing the line and weren't exactly "loyal" to him.
i don't know about air supremacy, but i think putin is getting what he wanted with more blood than needed.

if Ukraine had not been lavished with NATO weapons and supplies even then, and propped up with our intelligence services, they would have collapsed in the first week. the MIC has had it's fist so far up Ukraine's asshole since 2014 that the whole country is nothing but a sockpuppet.

i suspect he was possibly told to fight or lose support (money). this is why he acts so entitled to whatever he demands.

That's a dude in a basement posting his opinions on YouTube. At best its analysis.

I do agree with his latest report though. If Russia breaks through Ukraine will need to decide to let its forces be encircled or try to hastily pull them out of the encirclement.

Lol at all the retards supporting this dumb shit. Hope they enjoy their shortages and high prices.

Thankfully they haven’t committed U.S. troops once they found out a war with Russia didn’t improve poll numbers and people still talked about inflation.

I need to go get some pussy.

Yup the shortages are far more due to sanctions than war , sanctions impact on food alone is about 4x the shortfall if Ukraine couldn't export anything ,but its not the case the Grain exports rerouted through Romania ( yes not without cost) ,count in santioned supply of 25% of world fertilizers and everything from oil to aluminum being sanctioned ad to that sanctions on other Oil exporting nations. We are going to have artificially created worldwide famine and as a result milions of imigrants trying to make it into US and Europe.

Propaganda wall slowly cracking , reality Ukraine is far from winning anything aside the Darwin prize. Even the absolute regime propaganda outlet like WaPo.

Does this read like winning?

DRUZHKIVKA, Ukraine — Stuck in their trenches, the Ukrainian volunteers lived off a potato per day as Russian forces pounded them with artillery and Grad rockets on a key eastern front line. Outnumbered, untrained and clutching only light weapons, the men prayed for the barrage to end — and for their own tanks to stop targeting the Russians.

“They [Russians] already know where we are, and when the Ukrainian tank shoots from our side it gives away our position,” said Serhi Lapko, their company commander, recalling the recent battle. “And they start firing back with everything — Grads, mortars.
“And you just pray to survive.”
Ukrainian leaders have projected and nurtured a public image of military invulnerability — of their volunteer and professional forces triumphantly standing up to the Russian onslaught. Videos of assaults on Russian tanks or positions are posted daily on social media..........But the experience of Lapko and his group of volunteers offers a rare and more realistic portrait of the conflict and Ukraine’s struggle to halt the Russian advance in parts of Donbas

You know the part where US taxpayer dropped 53$ billion into Ukraine and EU another 20$billion and they still can't afford more than 30rounds for training? Reminds somewhat of Afghan grift?

All of their comrades were from western Ukraine. They were handed AK-47 rifles and given training that lasted less than a half-hour.
“We shot 30 bullets and then they said, ‘You can’t get more; too expensive,’ ” Lapko said.
It’s a miracle the Russians haven’t pushed through their defensive line in Toshkivka, Khrus said as Lapko nodded. Besides their rifles and hand grenades, the only weapons they were given were a handful of rocket-propelled grenades to counter the well-equipped Russian forces. And no one showed Lapko’s men how to use the RPGs.

“We had no proper training,” Lapko said.
“It’s around four RPGs for 15 men,” Khrus said, shaking his head.

Ministry of truth has declared this to be fake news.

Everyone knows that every Ukrainian soldier has killed at least 5,000,000,000 russians each…with slingshots.

You know a basement is basically a bunker.

And have basically admitted that you are okay with sending weapons to Ukraine so they put the hurt on Russia, but never really gave a reason as to why.

This whole thing is a shit show. Real leaders actually interested in solving the problem would pull up their big boy panties and work it out without destroying multiple cities, displacing millions, strangling the worlds economy and basically doing nothing but destroy shit.

The people who stood up in Kiev in 2013-14 and ousted Yanyanovik (spelling) need to realize not everyone wants to join their vision of Ukraine. And we should not be helping them make things worse.

People vs the government. Not the people manipulated by the government to fight each other.

According to the Gonzalo Lira, who is still in Kharkov (ukraine) and many other reports from Russia, ukraine and some U.S. observers, ukies are losing very badly in Donbas. It also looks like that the clown in charge (elensky) may be in a very serious danger of being taken out, although it's hard for me to tell by whom, coud be by ukie nazis or other third parties. And of course, European economic situation is getting so bad, I do not see EU keeping their sanctions against Russia going for a lot longer, as it hurts EU a lot more than it hurts Russia. Very interesting situation...

What I know for certain is that anything NATO, UN, EU, and the leadership in the USA is against, I am automatically in favor of. Unless this is all deception and part of the plan, and it may very well be, I would rather Russia be successful at least in this endeavor. Seems that they are. The rest of the world isn’t being taken to the cleaners by Russia. They are being raped and pillaged by their fraudulent “leaders”.

There are some rumors that ukraine military leadership is not happy with the clown (elensky) "running the show" in ukraine. I have a gut feeling that ukie military leadership may take an action, remove the clown and make a deal with the Russians while they can. If these rumors are true, I would give 2-3 months for this to happen... Actually, EU can not wait longer, they are already in deep shit. This should end ASAP.

One day the US military may need to actually fight for America instead of the corporations, politicians, bankers, and other special interest groups it has been serving for decades. I would hate for what you say to become reality if this had to happen. Good men would lose their lives paid for by the taxpayer. Sucks.

If North Korea had not been given support by hundreds of thousands of Chinese troops and dozens of Migs and Russian and Chinese pilots, Korea would be one democratic country.
If Russia and China had not supplied North Vietnam with hundreds of SAMs, dozens of Migs and hundreds of tanks, North Vietnam would be no more and most probably, Vietnam would be a democratic country and we would not have lost 50,000 good people and thousands more crippled physically and mentally. Sorry FU Russia!
Sieg Heil, Putin!

I'm always amazed how the neocons conflate the communist Soviet Union with post 1991 Russia - the country that kicked out the communists.

In the meantime the communists came here, took over, and now under their control we are supposed to hate democratic Russia.

I guess it suits the neocons talking points for higher taxes to feed the MIC and endless global wars, but anyone who understands history knows that you people are full of shit.

A russian is a russian, communist or kleptocrat oligarch.

Russia, a democracy...what a joke! Putin,ex-KGB communist, is now the great white hope of the ultra-right!! Sieg Heil, Putin

Today, the ultra right are now where the left was/are in the 60's: America the bad and the ugly. No difference between the ultra-right/left/'progressives'/communists/nazi.

And George Bush ran the CIA, tell me what is different? Bush did some dirty shit in Central and South America, that's a fact. Yet he still was a somewhat capable leader here.

Our government is not rife with kleptocrats? They didn't just give 40 billion of mine and yours monies to Ukraine, without our say?

And once again Putin is nothing like Hitler, Ukraine is not Poland 1939, if it were there wouldn't be a building standing, Hitler killed everything in his path, and leveled everything he could.

Yes, Putin is no Angle, but it's absolutely impossible for some people to realize we might be on the wrong side of this. Time after time since WW2 we have backed terrorist agents because they oppose our enemies. We now support the Taliban, Isis in Syria, and Azov, yet we are the good guys always and forever...no exceptions...

I think you have proven yourself completely incredulous, despite being confronted with facts, and most of all a major retard!

Yeah, I had to bust out the font size tool, it's that true.
