All I want to run this load as its where my best ES SD come from. ES always under 6 SD Around 4. My AXMC with Gradous 6.5 Creed barrel seems to leave slight ejector mark on everything. The load is Peterson brass, 147 ELDM, 38.6 H4350 at 2650fps.

I think a hard or stiffer than normal bolt lift is a better way to gauge as to overpressure.
Some rifles leave ejector marks and weird looking pin marks on primers.
But shining or marring on the case heads stamp is good to notice too.
In my experience it's not usually too tough to know once you have spent time with a particular rifle. But new to you guns should need more scrutiny till you get rounds under your belt.
