Issues with my new blackberry....

I just got the new bold from work. My personal phone is an older model bold ( until my contract runs out)' so I am familiar with operating blackberry type devices.

On my new one, I have an indicator telling me I have a message, but I have no message. I have tried the "mark prior as open" thing, plus hard resets, and battery pulls. Te last time I left the battery out for almost 2 hours, and it still appears.

Im a tad anal about stuff like this, so it bothers me that it is there. I delete all old or unnessecary stuff, so this is really annoying to me.

Anybody have any secret tricks to get this to go away????

It is a BB glitch and it is a message that has already been opened and read but hasn't relesed the tag. The only way I found to get rid of it is to go back through and open each message until you get rid of it. It is usually a sms text that causes it but can be an email.

Yep. Suprisingly they are still in business. Again, this one is a work phone, so I didn't have a choice. I will never own one again personally.

Thanks! I found it hiding in my emergency messages. Finally got rid of that annoying sum bitch.
