in an earlier post I gushed over my new (albeit small by most standards) fire arm investment. Well I couldn't wait to get it out to my range and with the exception of the first round hitting 1" low and 1/4" to the left, I put the remaining 9 shots of a 10 shot group in a quarter at 100yds measured. I am really excited by getting that kind of group with 150 gr soft points out a brand new (first 10 shots out of it) Remington 700 sps 308. Tomorrow I will buy some black hills 168 match and see how it does with those, I hope it shoots as well as I imagine it doing. Jeff

Well done, the 1st round was most likely a premature trigger yank from pure excitement, it happens sometimes
I'm sure it will like the 168s even better......

thank you captain, I don't know if it was due to it being 1st shot out a new barrel or if I was just to excited but it shot better that I expected out of some cheap federal ammo I was able to pick up at wally world.
