California high school shooter used untraceable 'ghost gun,' sheriff says
The 16-year-old boy who shot five classmates on Nov. 14 before turning the weapon on himself at Saugus High School in Santa Clarita, Calif. used an unregistered, untraceable “ghost gun” assembled by hand from parts, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva.
I think it's interesting that in the last couple of years we've seen highly publicized shootings involving bump stocks (Vegas), ar pistols (Dayton), suppressors (Virginia Beach), and now "ghost guns". Doesn't seem to bode well for the argument for effective gun laws.
That being said my favorite quote of the article is, "In Southern California, one-third of all firearms seized are ghost guns." Umm, source please?
