Which buffer spring is longer, AR15 or an AR10? Which buffer is longer, AR15 or AR10? I took apart both and now I've got them confused.

What calibers are they? Stiffer spring will be longer, i would think larger caliber will have the longer/stiffer spring.

the ar 10 buffer should not fit into the ar15 buffer tube. And the stiffer spring should be the longer one and should be the ar 10 buffer spring. When you get them back in i would mark one so this doenst happen again in the future

Or maybe don't take them apart at the same time.
