Just wanted to publicly thank Jeff (owner of CDI), for outstanding customer service.
I purchased a package that included a stock, bottom metal etc (from a fellow Hide member). The CDI DBM bottom metal I received had the wrong latch, it came with one that required gunsmithing (drilled for the retaining pin) to install. Unlike the normal one you would purchase which is easily pinned in place.
A quick inquiry to Jeff via email to see how much a replacement would cost; and he offered to send me a new one....for free. He wouldn't even let me pay shipping.
3 days later I received a new drop in latch. I couldn't be more pleased.
