Just joined - been lurking for years (and then some)

I've been shooting for decades - over four at last count.
My first rifle was a CMP M1 Garand that cost me a whopping $125 that I acquired after a weekend shoot at Ft. Meade.
Had I known its value was going to go through the roof, I would not have sold it in the early 90's for an AR project. (We all have regrets, don't we?)
I mostly shoot handguns and shotguns nowadays to maintain my self-defense skills but do find a little time for shooting at the 250-yard range at my club and still really enjoy the science & technology behind a long-range shot.
Anyway, just introducing myself to you all!

And I actually believe I was a member many years ago when the forum did not require minimum posting to use the PX.
