I'm not gonna fall in that trap!
I'm not really "doubting" my build at all (as in I'm definitely settled on the CM v the 260). I came to a better comclusion based on my circumstances. I have a 308 with a 20" barrel. It isn't a custom, but it will get worked over at some point in the not too distant future.
I simply decided that changing my build would be a better financial decision.
I'll have a R700 LTR in 308.
I'll have a custom GAP in 6.5 CM.
Rather than selling my 308 barreled action for beans, I bought a used LTR stock on the cheap (I sold mine within days of receiving it for the thumbhole that will be put on my GAP). Soon enough I can send it off and drastically reduce the price being that I'll be supplying an action to be worked.
