I am just starting to get into reloading even though it is something I have wanted to do for a few years now. I ordered the RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme Select Reloading kit that includes

Rock Chucker Supreme Press
Speer No 14 Reloading Manual
The trim pro case trimmer kit
deburring tool
the universal hand priming tool
uniflow powder measure
advanced powder measure stand
range master 750 scale
quick change powder funnel kit
universal case loading block

I also ordered RCBS .308 dies and .308 competition dies that are back ordered thats why I ordered the regular ones for know. I also ordered 4 shell holders the Sierra reloading manual and 300 pieces of Lapua brass.

I know I eventually need to get a tumbler. How much of a priority should that be? and what kind. I am debating what bullets to get. I was going to get 175 SMK. I have also thought about the 185 Berger juggernauts or the 155 scenars. I am thinking of ordering some of each from Southwest Ammo before buying to try them all and see which one my rifle works best. The barrel is a Rock Creek 1 in 11.25". I am attempting to find powder and primers. I am wondering what else I may need to get to get started. I planning on reading lots more before attempting it for the first time.

You'll want a dial caliper at least. I also use a micrometer but it's not necessary to get started.
Good idea to try a few of this and that to see if your rifle has an affinity for a particular bullet.
Tumbler-what is the best you can afford? My Dillon has lasted 21 years and counting. They all clean brass though.
Add some Imperial Sizing Wax, and a lube pad.
if you are going for precision, plan on getting the Hornady bullet comparator kit and headspace gauge kit. Not required but it sure makes things easy.
