Rifle Scopes Kahles k312i ?

There seems to be very little mention of this scope, or atleast I can't find any reviews.
I'm guessing it's because the top end power is only 12. I'm looking for a scope for precision rifle type matches and was kinda sold on the k624i because that has the features that I like and is in my price range. But 99% of my shooting is within 500m and I rarely use more than 12x. It's only on a paper target that I will want more. In fact I've even shot a clay pigeon at 1000m with a 12x scope.

Should I save a considerable amount of money and go with the k312i?

The main reason is that it's been discontinued for about 2-3 years , so if you find one used at a price you like than grab one

It was a very nice scope that should have gotten more attention than it did.

It has been replaced by the K318i.

I've seen them pop up from time to time on flea bay. I've been interested in one too, just never have the $$ when they pop up lol.

I have one with AMR reticle on my SPR-ish AR and like it. The only complain I really have is the tunneling at low powers.

I was unaware that they were discontinued.
That hasn't deterred me though and I'm still procrastinating.

I shot out to 1000 with a fixed 10x for years. With that quality of an optic, you'll be right as rain.

I have a Bushy HDMR 3.5-21 with H59 right now, but rarely find myself ever going higher than 15-18x.
