KIDD Supergrade - muzzle threading accuracy?

Does anybody here have any experience with the Kidd Supergrade with both the standard barrel and one which has been threaded/capped?

I have one on order and have opted out of the threading/capping as I was told that a bit of accuracy would be lost.

It should be mentioned that I am not competing in any way with this rifle - it is purely for plinking out to 200 yds. But, I do love accuracy, and if threading the barrel will make my groups go from sub-MOA to 1.5 MOA at 100 yds then it's a no-go.

So how much accuracy is affected by muzzle threading the Kidd Supergrade?

(Btw, I've ordered it with the McMillan STC and all the best options/parts to ensure the best accuracy)

They didn't say exactly how much accuracy would be lost, but did say that it would be "affected a bit."

I emailed them a little while ago and will wait to see what the word is...

They don't live in CA(NADA)

I had SAC thread my Kidd barrel before they offered it. I saw no difference in accuracy.

I just shot my best 5 shot group at 50yds (.22"). Average is .4"-.5".

If you're never going to suppress then I wouldn't care.

If you want to run a can then thread it.

I can't believe it will harm accuracy. I am about to order one as well. Assuming we can get the deal worked out.
