Re: Kifaru Woobie
Thought I would add this to the thread. I have a Woobie on my list of new gear to buy for this year's summer camping.

Hello,
I am interested in the Woobie and Doobie. I have read a bit about them , but have not found any specific temperature rating guides. I understand they are quilts/liners, and as such do not provide as controlled insulation as a sleeping bag. However, a
rough guideline concerning their limitations temperature wise would be great.
Is it fair to say the Woobi is comparable to 45F bag?
The Doobie to a 20F bag?
Or am I completely off?
Thanks,
xxx.

xxx, you are right in the ballpark on those figures. I have personally tested the Woobie down to 40 degrees wearing only polypro tops and bottoms and a beanie. I have not tested the Doobie, but close to 20 degrees would be about right. I would guess high 20's. Hope this helps.
