Dear me. Just last week just knew I should have invested in like 100K rounds of 22LR; until today. Today I found out I should have invested in 100K rounds of 380. To be sold of course, to people who didn't even attempt to plan ahead. Like the people that think 200 rounds is an arsenal's supply of ammo (aka, democrats).
And I thought the 4x markup on Aguilla 22LR 40g, 5000 rounds, was funny. I just saw Winchester White Box 380 for 1000 rounds mind you $ 1659!!!!
It's actually become almost funny to go ammoseek.com and peruse through the "common" and even not so common ammo and see how much it is. The 380 is the highest multiplier I've seen though. I've also looked at oddball 32 S&W, 38 S&W, 32 NAA, 36-24-36, etc that I've never even seen in real life; yet, there it is - loud and proud of being 4-5x more expensive than before the riots.
I'm only complaining because there not a mutual fund named AMMO
. Supply and demand. Was talking to a gun store manager today and he said if Trump gets re-elected there will be "some availability" in 6 months, but normalcy will be 2-3 years AGAIN. One of their suppliers buys something like 100K rounds per week, and he cannot get anything. Hence, why I'm shooting the minimum I can to keep skills. Fortunately, after 2 months off for multiple reasons (115 deg heat index is one of them) I think my skills improved...not sure how, but not complaining.
