First off will the caliber ever go out of style or is there too much loads and rifles chambered for that round and from what i understand it is very popular in africa for cxp3 plains game up to lions.
I can not see it ever going out of style. You will see it less and less in competition but you will always have a few hold outs who want to shoot it. As far as hunting goes it can fill so many roles from the lightest bullets to some of the heaviest bullets. If you hunt with in its limitations.
