I’m new to the reloading world looking to get started in it on the cheap at first I saw lee makes the lee loader classic everything you need to load up some ammo but the no longer sell it in my caliber of 7mm rem mag does anyone else make something similar to that kinda set up not reloadingnfor perfect precition just want to make some ammo in bulk that doesn’t shoot like trash. I’ll take any help I can get.

Its been a long time since Ive looked, they dont make them in much of anything anymore it seems. Too bad. The next closest I guess would be the cheap lee press and a lee collet die. Shouldnt require any lubing and is neck sizing only but achieves the same thing as the old mallet swinging one did.

As primitive as that Lee Loader is, I got to admit that it has a special place in my heart. I started reloading in 1999 with one. It was in 308 Win and I bought it at a pawn shop for $10. I bought a box of bullets, a pound of powder, and a tray of primers for $43 out the door and I was off to the races!

I loaded my first couple of hundred rounds with that Lee Loader while I accumulated a Partner Press, scale, a Lee trimmer, a chamfering tool...etc. For the first couple of years, my whole reloading set up would fit in a tackle box under the bed.

I still have the original Lee Loader I bought for sentimental reasons and occasionally use it to load a few rounds, just because.

Iv been trying to trade my 7mm ten mag for a .308 so I can get that lee classic loader and plus the ammo for a .308 is so much cheaper to shoot backpahes got taken down so kinda hard but would love to keep my 7mm mag if they made the classic loader for it.
