Trying to find the best way to go for my 452 american left hand. Going to start using it in nrl22 matches. What have you lefties done to make this stick work, lop and fore end rail? To my knowledge no chassis are offered for the 452 left hand correct?

I would like some info on Mods as well I have a 455 Right Hand all souped up with a Glades Bolt Handle and Boyds stock, DIP Trigger kit and magwell I have a 452 Left Hand the only Mod is a YoDave Trigger I'd love to find a Tactical
Bolt Handle for it instead of grinding and threading the original

Boyd's will do inletting on most of their offerings for left hand 452's.
Apparently The Polished Knob will do left hand 452 bolt handles. There were some pics on Rimfire Central of one he did a while back. He's on facebook and instagram:

I haven't contacted him myself, but people like his work.
Hope that helps.
I'm slowly planning a 452 American build, though I haven't gotten started yet.

I have two 452E Americans Left Handed models. One .17HMR Threaded and Bedded in a Boyds, The Smith Pillar bedded it as well. Timney Trigger and Dip 25MOA Rail, Vortex PST 3-15x44 Shoots Amazing out to 350 yards.
The .22lr has never been shot. been saving up for a Manner'and a Shilen Ratched Barrel

Who you gonna have chamber the .22?

I am still looking for a smith to finish my build.
Let me know what you decide. I asked a few places a year or so ago that does centerfires and they wouldn’t touch it. I’d still like to have mine rebarreled just for a heavier barrel.

I bought a used Boyd’s tacticool for a RH 453 and modified it to fit my 452.
-1/2” forstner bit to cut the new handle recess.
-filled the RH handle recess and forend escutcheon w/putty, paint afterward.
-bedded the action.
-DIP 25 MOA rail
-Mueller 8 groove

Yeah everyone mentioned Calfee but he isn't accepting work. My smith told me RF is an entirely different set of tools and to find one that specializes in rimfire. Still searching.

I just picked up a LH 452 CZ... not an easy find now days... tried 50+ online retailers and many used gun sales sites and no one has a lefty 452 for sale these days. 455 is not offered in LH unfortunately.

vs spending $100s on a new stock with higher comb/cheekpiece, i'm considering cutting off the top of the existing comb to get it flat and then just making a taller comb i can screw or glue on.

Put mine in a Boyd’s pro varmint and bedded it (bedding helped a ton with group size). Added an Atlas forend rail that fit right into the stock sling stud holes.
