Hi Guys,
I have Leica 2800.com, used the supplied battery, worked fined, left in the leica, month later wanted to use the RF, battery dead. It was safely stored, no lanyard around the buttons etc.
So bought a set of 2 Duracell batteries, I used the RF once at competition, ranged 5 different ranges, left in the leica pouch, few week later, took out RF, dead.
Replaced battery, used at gong shoot competition again, this time I took the battery out after I used it, not like ranged 1000 target, only 15 targets.
Went on a hunting trip this past week, installed the battery, worked fine. On the last day, (2day trip)
had range Wildebees, battle to range at 360m, next moment RF dead, no warning etc. I turned the Bluetooth off, so does not connect to my Kestrel.
so I used 3 batteries, did not even ranged more than 100 targets.
My Leopold RX-1200, left the battery in for 2 years, used on hunting trips, never replaced the battery, sold that RF with its original battery.
Any one else experienced this issues?
Regards
