Re: let's see it lowlight
Again, how many times do I have say it, I have company in town, satisfying the curious is not my priority.
If I have stumbled on a formula its this, for a working gun:
308 or 260
Action, I can really care less but it has to work, and work well under bad conditions. AW top of the food chain, period. Next a good trued Remington, loose, side bolt release, detachable AI mag, and good, reliable trigger. the custom ones are fine but need a lot of maintenance to stay right, but I am always open to trying it. Tight tolerance shit just tends to fuck up dirty...
Barrel, custom, 1/10 (I'll always ok a 1/11.25 Rock too) for a 308, shorter is better, no longer than 22" and one step down in contour than what anyone else thinks, braked or threaded for a can is best.
The stock, AW/AICS is always a winner, Manners T2A, MCM A5, A3, they are all really okay, but I want side mounted flush cups, and a Terry Cross cheek piece.
My only one gun option, AW for the obvious reasons and really no explanation is needed.
dgunn, please, go hide yourself, you're irreverent.
