LMT .308 MWS

Just finished this build today. Matt over at Distributors of Democracy did an amazing job with the Troy Coyote Tan, lasering and color fill. Has d. Wilson’s 16” 6.5 creed barrel.

I shot my LMT 6.5 CM 20" at 100 and 300 yards today to re-zero. I just got the scope back from Nightforce, The parallax got out of whack internally somehow, they were pretty good about repairing it under warranty, but it did take 6 weeks.

Overall, I'm impressed with this rifle. Every group was sub MOA today, except the first cold bore shot on a very clean barrel (1.14"). The groups at 305 yards averaged 0.5 MOA (1.11", 1.87", 1.52"). I'm absolutely thrilled with that from a large frame gas gun, no malfunctions, gas perfectly, I really couldn't ask for much more from an AR10.

How do those barrels shoot? Kicking around the idea of buying one, but probably will buy an 18" Bartlein from Craddock instead and have D Wilson convert it

Regardless, very nice rifle

Agreed. That's a sweet piece.

Those are outstanding 300yd groups for a gas gun. Nice shooting

Thanks! I'm sure it's just a lack of focus on my part, but I tend to shoot smaller in terms of MOA at 300 yards than I do at 100. It's the same thing with my bolt-action rifles.

Part of it is probably me shooting the center out of my aiming point at 100, but I'm sure part of it is my getting a little sloppy with fundamentals
