Anyone know of any that uses AI mags besides Badger? Wish Surgeon made it. I love me short action DBM from them.

No reason. Just lookin for other options so my rifles not the same thing as everyone else. Theres a reason for that I know. tryin to be different.

Although I have no experience with the system, there are a few here that have I'm sure. Doesn't the Vbull system from JWPrecision also come for Long action Remington 700? Their website says that it does. Anyway, it's something to look at, and an option if you just wanted something different. http://www.jwprecision.ca/a-5specs.html

Forgot about the Vbull DMB, they sure do come at a premium though, $422.50 shipped.

Knew the short action wouldn't work without mods. What I don't know is if mags for a 300 win mag will work. WSM cases have less body taper than a win mag so the feed rails still might have to be worked over.

ooops sorry, that was the thread for the SA mags, the LA mags should work, IIRC you might have to tweak the feed lips a bit, but nothing major.

Made a couple calls today. The Win mag AI mags need some mods to the feed rails while the Lapua mags will work with no mods for the WSM cases.
