Long range App help!!

I am new to this forum and need some assistance.

I just purchased a kestral 4500 with bluetooth. Which app for my Iphone 5 would you recommend for making "real world" shots while hunting? My goal is to download all my environmental information into my phone via bluetooth to obtain a quick, yet accurate firing solution on large and medium size game at extended ranges. Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated.!!!!!



Also, FYI: I am hunting with a 7mm rem mag, 168gr berger hybrids, 3080FPS, Nightforce 4.5-22X56 NPR1

I use two apps ISnipe and Ballistic AE ...... either one will do what you want. I find ISnipe easier to use.

iPhone's do not work with the kestral. Your going to have to enter the weather parameters manually. Ios does not allow data transfer over bluetooth.
For apps I like shooter, Ballistics AE and Applied Ballistics. It just depends on how much your willing to spend.

well that sucks!! well i guess my next question is how long does it take to manually enter all my environmental conditions manually? and which App is the quickest while remainig accurate?

Maybe a minute to enter the conditions. As for speed they're all fairly fast. I primarily use shooter with great success. I'll be switching at least experimenting with Applied Ballistics which has just recently become available for Iphone.

The thing about ISnipe is they broke it down to four things- bullet, rifle, range, atmosphere. SIMPLE and you can just switch out bullets or whatever. It is simple

Ballistic ae and applied ballistics are the 2 to have. Both are super easy to set enviros with a push of the button and input baro.
