Looking for - Badger M2008 Action

What are the chances of finding a new Gen 2 Badger action these days ready for .300WM... I'm trying to suss out my options for the next build.

There hasn't been too much about them for a long time, I'm guessing they're not being made anymore.


Came across a picture of a great looking XLR chassis multicam dipped with an M2008 action that has sparked something and is keeping my mind busy!

Have you contacted Marty at Badger directly? When I ordered mine around 2 months ago they had all versions in stock ready to ship.

I am in the middle of a mid-end build right now. I don't need new ideas floating around.

A Badger in an XLR looks like an all around awesome rig.

When I finally got mine about a month ago, it seemed like the standard short action was the one that had the longest wait time associated with it.

As said above, sometimes Badger will have exactly what your looking for sitting on thier shelf collecting dust, and thier customer service is freakin awesome.

What is the going rate on a M2008 action?

I would contact Badger directly, but right now I am just a window licker..i mean looker, so I don't want to waste their time.

I hear you man... Just fired B.O. an email, will get back to you when they get back to me.
Asked for pricing on the "P/N 100-03 Long Action Winchester Magnum Calibers".

I have a feeling ITAR, export tax etc is going to be brutal... Standard.

We're not allowed folding stock rifles in Australia so AIAX, AICS 2, MRAD, MSR etc. So basically anything modern other than the DTA (which I'm not keen on due to the big grip) is effectively ruled out.


For this project I'm thinking:
M2008 Long action - .300WM
XLR Evolution HD + tactical stock - hydro dipped in multicam like the pic above.
Will look into the Magpul PRS stock later on.
Bartlien heavy contour, spiral fluted by Kampfeld Custom.
Badger FTE brake.
Atlas V8.
Nightforce NXS 3.5-15x50.

You can also download thier catalog/price sheet for any and everything they make...on thier website ofcourse...

Use the M2008 part number (for what ever configuration you want) and you can pull up an exact price....

Yes thats pretty good, I got mine for $950.00, $300 for an extra bolt, $50 for a 45MOA rail.

Good I'm glad I went with my gut feeling on that one...why did you get an extra bolt Waldo? Did you get a standard boltface for a long action? It was actually 850 but with kinda high shipping of 35 bucks for just an action...

I believe Waldo got a WSM bolt for a short action. I paid $950 for my short action.
