Looking for a load for:
.300 Win Mag 180grain Nosler AccuBond and Alliant Reloader22
.300 Win Mag 180grain Nosler AccuBond and IMR 4064
.300 Win Mag 165grain Barnes TTSX and Alliant Reloader22
.300 Win Mag 165grain Barnes TTSX and IMR 4064

I am working up an accurate load for these two bullets and have had better luck with IMR 4831 so far.
Are the Gun Guides Reloading Guide or LoadBooks USA from MidwayUSA worth it? My guess is that they are based off of old reloading manuals and not up to date enough.
Thanks for the help.

If not shooting past 300-400 yds sometimes the lighter bullets are flatter in that part of the trajectory because of higher MV. The longer ranges are different. With my lighter bullet loads I can zero at 250-300 yds and hold dead on out to 350-400 with the right caliber. And at 100 yds I'm hitting just a few inches higher. This is only with my 2 hunting rifles. 300WM and 7 STW. Not all cartridges work this way. I still use a little holdover/under at different ranges but I don't have to dial. If I know my area and I might take a longer shot I dial. I always zero at 100 but I (field zero) my rifle say 3MOA high so I still know where everything is going. If the shot is longer I might have time to refer to my charts to see exactly what I need to do but in Louisiana, your deer could be gone in the blink of an eye so being ready for a closer shot may be your only shot.

With a 1:10 you can't go wrong with the 210 vlds. H1000 or r22 They sound like a boat paddle whacking a tree when they hit a deer. Extremely flat and DEADLY
