Hey, anybody know of some precision rifle training facilities close to South Eastern Idaho? I am hoping to only drive 3-5 hours. I would love to hit a few competitions in the future as soon as I can get a handle on more of the fundamentals. I am not interested in handgun or carbine training...yet.

Thunderbeast arms will be running training classes in central Wyoming. I was able to take their class last year and walked away having learned a lot, and a much more consistant of shooter. Very professional, and fantastic instructors.

Thanks venator! I just checked their website. They look to be professional. I noticed they were doing a training in Utah at a place called Sniper Country. Thanks for the lead.

Magpul Dynamics's Precision Rilfe program has its home base in Yakima, WA. I'm not sure where you live in Idaho, but we are pretty close. Our local courses begin this year in May.

I've been in touch with these guys; Strategic Tactical They have a class here in Utah in may and another more advanced class slated for the fall sometime. Another guy I've trained with (former PD asst chief, Army SF) has one coming up as well; I'll email him and get the dope on it.
