The only thing that jumps out at me is that you could upgrade the bolt handle knob. If you have access to a lathe you might enjoy making your own but there are plenty of good premade options.

Or if you don't mind putting money into it just for appearances, you can have the stock dipped. There are a lot of nice patterns available that can really make it look different than the standard camo options.

I'd want the suppressor next too! lol! (CA laws suck)

--also one vote for a bolt handle, it makes manipulation of the bolt much easier.

Your weapon needs nothing because it cannot perform any better than it is driven. But you might want to try shooting it at ranges more appropriate for a .338LM. I mean a .308Win is barely starting to work at 400 yards. Try starting at 1,200 yards and work up to 1,500-1,600 yards. We shoot 400 yard steel with .22LR with accuracy similar to your included shots.

Live primers?? </div></div>

The primers are probably dead, there are several different ways to do it, soak them in oil or you can set them off from the rear and sometimes they will not crater. Even if they were live it wouldn't matter, they create a very small spark when set off, espacially being epoxied into a bolt handle.

I made a similar one - I submerged the primer in a cup of water and used a pick to pull out the anvil and scrape the compound out then seated it in the case.

This and start reloading so you can fine tune a load. Invest in good equipment from the get go as you will more than likely replace most of the stuff you get in the beginner kits. I start with a Lee press kit and quickly upgraded to a Forster Co-Ax and Redding Bushing Dies. Now I have more money in two die sets than the Lee Press Kit.
