So, I'm going to be building a LR308 soon, If I can get all the parts. I understand no one here is going to be able to tell me if it will function 100 percent, or have good accuracy, but just looking for advice or if you would change anything up here? Trying to keep it "budget" to some extent. I'm not recoil shy but my shoulder has had 4 surgeries so id like to keep the recoil to a manageable level. Probably throw a limb saver on it. Using it for target and hunting. Thanks.

    LOWER:
80 percent lower. Noreen DPMS Gen 1.
    Aero M5 lower parts kit.
    Aero rifle buffer and tube
    MOE Rifle Stock
    Cmc trigger
    Pmag

    UPPER:
    Aero M5 reciever
    BCG??? Toolcraft? Noveski??
    Aero charging handle
    Superlative arms adjustable gas block
Criterion hybrid 18inch barrel rifle length

Also from what I'm reading, people are getting getting pretty tight fitment with aero and noreen, thats why I chose that brand.

Aren't Criterion barrels headspaced with Fulton Armory or JP bolts? Seems to me like that's what I had to use when I ordered mine. Damn memory is getting fuzzy on this one. Its not like you shouldn't check headspace anyway, but this might save a tiny bit of frustration.

Limbsaver wise... " * Does not fit MOE Fixed Rifle Stock or PRS Stock. "

" Aero rifle buffer and tube" ... assuming you mean the 308 version with its shorter 308 rifle length buffer.. https://www.aeroprecisionusa.com/m5-308-rifle-buffer-kit-1
Correct. I'm just wondering if somthing, like that setup would work. Really? I was looking at the slip on one's from limb saver. From what I gathered the measurements would work for a slip on.

I have a LimbSaver slip-on placed over a Mag. PRS... it works, but doesn't stay in place very well.

The one I linked to is a "purpose made" to fit one. ( They work great. )
