Just wanted to let those involved in these matches know that I'm going to try and shoot my short range matches this weekend. March weather hasn't been the greatest - and then I also had to prepare for our muzzle loading club shoot that was this past Sunday.

This weekend looks pretty good to sling some lead at some targets however.

I went to the range tonight, could not get my front sight adjusted for 25 yard rapid fire shoot.
Wind was howling 15-25 mph from 6-9oclock.
Mabee I should post on the learnings thread...duuhh, don't wait to the last minute clodhopper.
Weather is predicted to be tough this weekend.

I went out and shot it last Friday but I shot 10 shots at each target so I didn't think it would be right to score my targets. I will try again next month.

Thanks to all that participated and shared their thoughts in the learnings thread.

The scores seemed to improve as the weather did. Hopefully better conditions ahead will boost participation.

Nice shooting Clodhopper in the "S" Class 25Y4P. You set a new record I do believe with the 240-11x, eclipsing your previous record back in January '10 of [240-6x]. Nicely done my freind! Good shooting!
