I have had Mark do a couple of things for me in the past so i sent him my FNAR to have the PWC PRC brake installed. I had the rifle back in a week and it looks awesome. The brake really makes the rifle look much better than stock. The PRC brake really looks like it should have come with the rifle from factory this way. I think FN got smart and will have the FSC30 brake on the SCAR 17 when it comes out stock.

The rifle shoots beautifully. My reticle doesnt move when shooting with this brake. I can see my steel hits at 600yards right thru the scope. Follow up shots are super fast. I had it out to 600 hard yards this past weekend and it was shooting 3-4" groups at that distance with Federal 175gr GMM. Cant ask for more from a semi-auto. Here are some pics:

The washers were not used, the brake was timed to the barrel and secured with Rock Steady.

thanks for the answer. Did you install the same brake on a bolt action rifle ? how do you like it ?
I have one coming my way so I'm looking for install feedback

To give you an idea i had my FNAR and GAP .308 with 26" barrel and Badger FTE brake shooting side by side. Before i put the brake on the FNAR, although a semi-auto it had a nice little kick to it being .308 weighing 10lbs with scope. MY GAP setup weights 15lbs. After the brake installation my FNAR shoots as soft or even softer than the heavier 26" barrel setup with Badger FTE brake. I would put the PWS up against the best of them.

Another big plus for the entire PWS line of brakes are the fact that they hide flash so well too. I have their FSC556 on a few of my ARs and they hide flash as well an A2 for the most part.

Looks great. Has this brake affected the FNAR's accuracy at all? I really want one of these but am a little paranoid about hurting the phenomenal accuracy this rifle has demonstrated.

Keith, I like this brake a lot. It works really well as a flash hider also. They are unique looking brakes but they seem to just simply work, plus they are a great company to do business with.

I'm also doing trigger jobs on the FNAR's. I can safely bring them down to about 2 lbs and 10 oz to 3 lbs.

Koganinja,

Your PM box is full, I will hook you up with the FNAR work, just send me an email at [email protected] or give me a call at 440-309-0085.

I too had Mark install the PWS PRC on my FNAR as well as tune the trigger.

I couldn't be more pleased. The brake looks great, works even better and the trigger is vastly improved, just under 3 lbs.

Turn around time was also fantastic. Highly recommended.
