Marlin 1894 44 mag lever gun

I believe these are regarded as the best quality ones currently available? I will be getting one of these and after looking on the site it only has 20" available? I read a lot of guys on here have 16" 44 mag lever guns. Were these available before, or am I missing something on Marlin's website.

Any reviews welcome!

Marlin did do a run of 16-1/4" barrel 1894's in 44Mag, back about 10 years ago. Only seen 20" models since.

Not a very good idea to buy a new Marlin at this point. QC has been horrible since they were taken over. There are countless accounts of very poor rifles comming out of there. Go for a good used one, it will be a winner for sure.
