Gents, I'm thinking of replacing my Falcon Menace in 4-14x44 FFP in 16ML. NOTE: This is not a "For Sale" ad, I'm merely asking for a little advice. My goal here is to get all my scopes on mil-mil/0.1 mil click setup so I'm not doing math in the field or depending on some kind of calculator.

I'm willing to lose FFP if I can find the mil-mil setup. Does anybody have a list of which mil-mil/0.1 mil click scopes are currently offered under $450? (Yes, I know I'm not buying the SH approved big-ticket scope here, but budget requirements have to be met).

Requirement:

30mm tube
Mil-dot or line reticule, Mil-mil W&E adjustments, 0.1 mil click
Under $450
Variable range with 14x or higher mag

1. Another Falcon Menace - either 4-14x40 or the 5-25 unit with 0.1 mil clicks
2. I can't find anything else!

Be patient.

The 2011 SHOT show is next month. Keep an eye out for the following;

1. Additional mil/mil Super Sniper offerings
2. Weaver Tactical with 1/10 mil adjustments
3. Additional Bushnell Elite mil/mil offerings

Going to be tough on that budget. The falcon sounds like your best bet or the weaver over at midway. You could save up just a bit and pick up the Bushnell FFP mil / mil.

Thanks for the guidance. I can be patient! Perhaps I'm being kinda dopey just following the latest fad around here, but I have to confess that during my last outing where I was doodlin' around with "how many MOA is that Steel Dog at 261 yards? How many mils is that? What are my clicks?" I was thinking, "There has GOT to be a better way."

EDITED TO ADD: I'm just going to leave the system in place until I can afford one of those really nice Vortex PSTs. I have about a year and a half until I'm out of school and teaching; I can certainly get good enough to be effective in competition with the FM as it sits (not that I can currently afford to get into competitions right now as it is, LOL).
