McMillan edge technology

Thinking about getting a mcmillan a1-3 in their edge technology. Anybody have experience this their stocks, in this material. It's supposed to be pretty sturdy.

I had a new Edge Tech Remington Varmint stock. I thought the shell was very nice. I couldn't convince myself the stuffing was going to be durable enough so I sold it to someone who thought it was.

I've had a few & presently contemplating another EDGE stock for a LW hunting rifle.
If you're truly counting ounces, then EDGE fill will shave a few off a standard fill stock.
Have never run into an instance where an EDGE fill stock was compromised or otherwise damaged from field use.
One caveat for opting for EDGE fill is that the molded in 'swirly' patterns that McM is famous for are not an option. Stuck with painted finish, or dipped in some rare instances on "in stock" products...

Have a edge rem varmint and like it a lot.If your counting ounces it is the way to go.

They are extremely tough and lightweight, I absolutely love mine. If your building a lightweight hunting rig look no further.

Xtremhtr16 I'll keep you in mind when I'm ready to make that jump. As of now I'm just in the planning phase.

I have a game scout with edge fill , feels very sturdy and perfect for a hunting rifle. I don't beat on my gear so I'll probably never test its true durability.

I have my Reemy dropped into an Edge fill A3 Sporter. I had Stock Doc (Joe) install the loggerhead hardware. Works perfectly and has held up to some abuse. Have no fear about the durability. It is a McMillan. The only issue is as stated, colors are limited from the factory.
