Midsouth sells these Varmint Nightmare X-Treme bullets in .22cal. They say that they are from an undisclosed premium bullet manufacturer. They're super cheep and shoot well. Anybody know who makes them? I'm trying to get a BC.

I think they are hornadys. They look the same as my .224 55gr sp w/c. It will be interesting to see what others think. I have also used the Horn BC, and it worked out good for as much testing I did with them out to 400yrds. 223REM

I'm using the 55 grain Hp. Looks like a Speer 55 grain TNT? I don't see a Hornaday 55 HP.

400 yards will work ok with most any BC of relevance you want to put in. 800 up will make a difference. Do a drop test. At that price you can afford a 20 round test with good significance. JMHO
