In case of 175 SMK which show bullet detail as followings;

Bullet Length = 1.24"
Bearing Surface = 0.350"

So, what is the minimum lenght of bearing surface that we should left in the case neck?

I found that German Salazar journal recommend to left enough bearing surface in case neck to proper grip the bullet stable in place.

Depends upon your throat length. If you have too long a throat so that the bullet falls out of the brass, then that is too long. Standard throat, seat it out until it touches the lands, back it off .003 and try shorter until you get a good grouping. If it won't fit into the magazine, at the long length, back it down until it does, then work the jump. JMHO

I gonna chamber a new barrel with this PTG F-TR Reamer as Dave recommend for No neck turn , Single Shot.

.342 nk , .168 fb , 1-30

But just want to know will 175 SMK can seat to minimum jump with this chamber.
