Good luck on your draw. I have hunted deer twice around Winifred. There is some big elk in that country. A lot of the land around Winifred is private though. My Boss's family homesteaded that area generations ago.

The "Breaks" surrounds the upper Missouri River badlands in Montana and the Dakota's

my buddy drew that permit a few years ago, scouted hard and opening morning killed a 360 bull.
