I saw a bag in the Cheaper Than Dirt store in Mckinney, TX on Friday. It seemed to have the features I'm looking for. I was just wondering if it would hold up very well. I understand you get what you pay for.

I've seen the group buy for the drag bags, and I just can't pony up that much right now since I'm recovering from a scope purchase.

My main problem is that I'm carrying my rifle in a hard case that it barely fits in. I'm carrying a spotting scope in a seperate case as well as my range bag. This type rifle case will significantly help. Which is, of course, is the reason they are made.

I have a voodoo tactical case for my ar, its a very nice case. I would like to get the drag bag too. Check out sportsmans guide, they have the best prices on voodoo cases, the drag bag is only $69.99 and they have reasonable shipping.

I have their dragbag and I have one of their 36" MOLLE M-4 cases, and I have been pleased with both. The material is heavy enough. I've carried mine for several years now for LE SWAT, and its held up just fine. Maybe if I were dragging it on a daily basis I'd consider Eagle or one of the premium bags, but it's held up fine for my purpose.

I guess my only real complaint on the dragbag is that the carry handles don't seem to be placed well for balance. They need to be a little farther forward to keep the nose from pitching down when carrying the rifle.

I bought a great bag earlier this year at a local gunshow for a killer price. It has ALL the bells and whistles, made in the USA with quality materials. Fits my 26" barreled .308 with a brake. Google "Ruffin Flag Company" in Georgia. They only have one crappy picture of it. They must be supplying these to the army judging by their low-key public advertising (and choice of camo pattern).

I have the 2 rifle case by them but no bag. I use it for carrying my LWRC M6A3 and my GSG5SD back and forth to the range. It has backpack straps so it is easy to carry and has 3 large pouches to hold lots of crap. It is very well made for the price range and I will not hesitate to buy another when I have more AR's to haul back and forth to the range and get tossed around in the back of my truck. I will say the OD Green versions of all their gear seems to be better made than the black or khaki versions. Just feels more durable and the zippers are better.

That's all this bag will be doing for me. I won't have to bet my life on it...I hope

MADE IN USA gets lots of points with me. Hard to find that anymore. That was my only turn-off for the Voo-Doo bag.

EDIT: When I added this bag to the shopping cart an alert came up reading "this store has a minimum order amount of $144.00" Guess I'll have to go elsewhere then.
