Hello everyone,

I haven't posted in several months regarding this stuff, mainly because I've been pretty busy.

I'm still making these cnc machined loading blocks as I was before. They're just as good in quality as ever, and I'd imagine I have a few of people who are enjoying theirs (chime in if you guys don't mind). All trays and blocks have rubber pads on the bottom for grip. Holes are all milled deep and to close tolerances to prevent rattling, but to fit with sufficient clearance. Clearance is provided on the bottom of each hole to avoid potential primer contact and to make room for debris that may fall down there.

Although this isn't everything, I have some pics of some new little stuff I've made... Nothing crazy, just more high quality, shiny, useful stuff. More is on the way once I get some time to make it all...

Anyways, heres what's currently available:

1. <span style="font-weight: bold">Bullet sorting tray</span>
50 spot tray for sorting bullets by weight, ogive length, bearing surface, etc. Available from .22 to .338. Depth of the hole is equal to the diameter of the bullet.
$15

2.<span style="font-weight: bold">Original 50rd machined loading/range blocks</span>
$25 for sizes up to .338 lapua
$28 for .338 lapua size range
$30 for anything bigger, like BMG and Cheytac
Available from .22lr to .600 NE

3. <span style="font-weight: bold">25 round loading/range blocks</span>
(not pictured... Just like the 50rd, but half the length)
$15, limited to max size of WSM calibers (.55x" max)

4. <span style="font-weight: bold">Machined range block with milled tray</span>
(for misc accessories or used brass)
$25, $28, $30, depending on size.

5.<span style="font-weight: bold"> Milled empty hollowed out tray</span>
(not pictured, but looks like the range block with tray, but the whole block is a milled out tray)
$15 for full length (~6.5"x 3.5")
$12 for half length (~3.5" square)

6. <span style="font-weight: bold">Annealing rigs</span>
3/8 Shank to fit most power drills. Rigs only fit sizes up to the WSM calibers (.55x base). $12 ea
(the square part stops them from rolling around)

Tom does quality work guys... really cant say enough good things about both his quality of work and interpersonal skills. One of the best guys Ive dealt with.

These blocks will outlive all us and a few nuclear holocausts to boot. Do yourself and your loading bench a favor and buy some.

Tom those annealing rigs are sweet as. Any chance you can make taller ones... say 3/8" below the shoulder

Thank you sir for the kind words!!

Regarding the height/depth of the rigs.... The one pictured is a "rough" prototype I guess you could say.

More than likely I'll be making a new design in the next few days. Drilled, instead of milled, to allow for a deeper hole, and in turn the height will shield the case from flame. The inside finish will not be as good, but as user AMOK! put it, the finish is not as important as the heat protection. I'll update once I fix that.

Re: More CNC machined blocks, & new CNC stuff for 2011

No worries Tom... i guess there would be an optimal height depending on each case, to allow the most consistent heating at the same spot every time, yet still allowing you to see the changes in the metal as its occuring... not sure how high this would be exactly, but it would be a nicer alternative to the Hornady kit, which is very generic.

Re: More CNC machined blocks, & new CNC stuff for 2011

I have several of Tom's aluminum blocks and the workmanship is outstanding.

The price is unbeatable. When you consider the cost of the aluminum, the programming, the setup and the precise CNC drilled holes that you would be hard pressed to duplicate on your drill-press at home, these blocks are a bargain.

If you want something classy in your reloading room, order a few of his blocks!
