Gunsmithing Mossberg mvp

Any one know the torc spec for the mossberg mvp action screws . Im shooting one minute of angle now but the action is loose. I think it will do beter tight. Thanks

The 308 isn't out yet so I'll assume your shooting the 223?

The action rests in a plastic insert in the laminated stock. It's a safe bet that the insert needs to be bedded before things tighten up properly.

I called mossberg the minute I received my MVP Predator (The 18.5 fluted, AR magazine,etc...) the CS told me exactly this "Only go to hand tight." Well my first thought was this guy just doesn't give a shit about today. I called back the next day spoke to another representative and was told the same thing.

I ended up using my fat wrench and meeting in the middle ground around 35 inch lbs, and everything seems okay...amazing the answers they give you when you call.

Thanks i wil take it apart the next time i make it home and bed the insert. Yes it is the 223 .
