Here's true motivation.
When Fin Doherty was 6 years old, his brother was killed in action in Afghanistan as a British paratrooper.
Young Fin decided he wanted to become a paratrooper and carry on his brother's career.
Yesterday, Fin graduated from paratrooper training and was awarded the coveted beret. But it wasn't just any beret. It's the beret his brother wore, and it was given to him by a Sergeant Major who had been in combat with his brother 11 years ago.

By the way, that is actually how close you can drive to the rocket launch pad. I mean it is RIGHT there, by the road. We ask if there is any planned launch before we go fishing on the beach, Then if that changes, the Deputy comes roaring down the beach and gives everyone one hour to leave. Sucks. Also the wind blows the exhaust toward SPI Resort area.
