Uh... No... The one on the right is called "pop country". It is nothing more than mass produced pop bullshit with a bit of a twang added to it, marketed primarily to suburban and county line soyboys who just bought a brodozer and wanted to act "country". The one on the left is known as "DARK COUNTRY", "GOTHIC AMERICANA", "GOTHIC FOLK", "OUTLAW COUNTRY", "SOUTHERN ROCK" and "WESTERN ROCK". The genre still exists and it is actually growing in popularity due to the disgust and disatisfaction with the faggotry that is "pop country", causing a lot of new and often extremely talented and emotionally invested artists to contribute to this genre's rapid growth and rebirth. And last but not least, the 9/11 attacks triggered a surge of patriotic fervor and pride in American ideals of such sheer intensity that had not been seen since Pearl Harbor, and greatly contributed to the rebirth of traditional outlaw country in celebration of American values and the history of the Old West...

Examples of past outlaw country artists:

Johnny Cash and the Highwaymen
Hank Williams
D. Ray White
Lynyrd Skynyrd
Charlie Daniels Band
Chris LeDoux
And more...

Present day outlaw country artists:

Chris Stapleton and the Steeldrivers
Cody Jinks
Jesco White
Blues Saraceno
Brother Dege
Daniel Murphy/Anthony Sanudo/Eric Serna
White Buffalo
The Steel Woods
Rebel Son
The Heavy Horses
North Country Gentlemen
Hank Williams III
Creed Fisher
Dean Brody
Nine One One
Randy Houser
Kix Brooks
Colter Wall
Whiskey Myers
Blackberry Smoke
Old Leatherstocking
Gary Allan
Ghoultown

And A LOT more...

So yeah, the category on the left is actually growing and gaining up on/overtaking the shit on the right...
Stapleton a fuckin lib......

Stapleton a fuckin lib......

He and other country artists had been under extreme pressure from the gun ban crowd to support disarmament shit. Many other artists bowed, some cucked hard immediately, but Stapleton didn't seem to give way...

----------
Stapleton has been quiet about his politics, but the fact that country music's renegade Sturgill Simpson adores him speaks volumes. Stapleton is also a long-time collaborator with Justin Timberlake, who recently tried to rebrand his image as a "man of the woods" and has said publicly that he's a life-long gun owner.
----------

Even Justin Timberlake, once a major big city lib, changed his outward appearance after hanging out with Stapleton. Suddenly Timberlake wants to be a mountain man...

ETA: He had been the front man for the Steeldrivers and that group had not been the same ever since he left them. With Stapleton at the helm, Steeldrivers was pure, undiluted, unadulterated post-Civil War deep South chain gang blues and bluegrass in the same style as Howlin' Wolf...

ETA II: Okay, had to read up on who "Sturgill Simpson" is. Whoah that mofo DEFINITELY sounds like he enjoys pumpkin spice latte enemas delivered via a huge purple dildo... What the fuck...

"...where they go harder on a Lincoln than John Wilkes Booth.." HO LEE FUK I am rolling on the floor here.

Creed Fisher has similar things to say about that shit too. I think he has actually beaten up a fair share of carpetbagging yuppies over the years. By the way, if these posers are "hick-yuppies", don't that make them nothing more than "hippies"??? Seems like they are right back to square one.
